While I was at the 2007 Portland Festival, Tim Furst made me an offer I couldn't refuse: Come up to Seattle with Lisa for a few days and perform at the 5th Annual Moisture Festival. It being the fifth year, they were inviting back some of their favorite acts together with new blood like yours truly. With me the answer is always "yes!", and so Lisa and I found ourselves lodging with Mr. Furst and taking in the Seattle sites during a cold week in March. First of all, the entire production is housed in a brewery warehouse, and yet it was one of better stages on which I have ever performed. Audiences of 300 or so people were packed in tightly, drinking some fine on-site brew, and enjoying some really good comedy, singling, arial, and juggling acts. I performed twice and MC'd once. Quality time with Lisa, good food, and wonderful hosting by the former FKB legend himself, Mr. Furst. Thank you again, and let me know when I can come back!
